Widespread PS3 PS Vita Issues Preventing Fans from Downloading Games

Sonys legacy systems, the PS3 and PS Vita, are throwing a wobbly it seems. There are widespread reports, right around the globe, of purchased games not downloading properly from the PS Store. Its unclear what the exact cause is: PS3 received a firmware update recently, which could potentially be related but that wouldnt explain the problems with its handheld counterpart.
