Warhammer 40k Space Marine 2 Hit with a Heavy Delay into Second Half of 2024

Although it's long been pencilled in for a 'winter 2023' release date, we don't think anyone was actually expecting Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 2 to launch anytime soon — not when things have been so quiet on that front. But then we also didn't expect it to be pushed all the way back into the second half of 2024 — and that's exactly what's happened.
"The game is now poised to ship in the second half of 2024, to provide the time needed to properly polish the game and to ensure the best possible experience," writes publisher Focus Entertainment. It also states that an "official launch date" will be revealed in early December — which probably makes it a lock for The Game Awards 2023.
