Unreal Engine 5 to Power Dead Space Devs Iron Man Game
Community Council is formed.
Unreal Engine 5 has been chosen as the engine EA Motive will use to build its Iron Man game, which is currently in early development. The untitled project has been officially in production at the Dead Space developer since February, and all we know so far is it's going to be a third-person, single player action-adventure experience that "taps into the rich history of Iron Man".
Now an engine has been selected, the studio has also formed a Community Council, which will be "offering feedback on pretty much everything throughout the development process". EA Motive did the same when it was remaking Dead Space, which led to the team going back to the drawing board to improve certain elements such as weapon sounds. With EA Motive still advertising open roles at the studio, its Iron Man game is still a number of years away from release, but Unreal Engine 5 is allowing the "dev team to work their magic and create something really special".
