Timed PS5 Exclusive Final Fantasy 16 Is Almost Ready for Primetime on PC

Square Enix is putting the PC version of Final Fantasy 16 through its paces, as it completes the final stages of optimisation for the platform. Obviously, the game launched last year as a timed PS5 exclusive to much critical acclaim, but a port to PC was always on the cards, and it sounds like the team has been busy beavering away on it behind-the-scenes.
Speaking with Game Informer, through a translator, director Naoki Yoshida revealed: “In terms of where we are in development currently, we're trying to figure out the final stages of optimisation right now. When we can release the PC version might be dependent on that – the system requirements and specifications for PC that players will need, so we're trying to figure that out. Naturally, are looking to be somewhat high.”
