Nobody has ever been enjoying a videogame and thought, this would be more fun if my sword broke. That is an absolute statement, and literally nobody on earth is more averse to absolutes than I am, but for as long as I live Ill assert this particular statement on weapons to be 100% true. Those who argue against my assertion will be quick to defend weapon durability systems, to go so far as to say they actually enjoy them, but in doing so they miss the point of what Im saying. You can defend them all day long, but if you claim to have ever wished for weapon durability in a game without it, if you tell me youve ever longed for your beloved sword to shatter in the middle of a tense fight, I will not believe you, and my disbelief will be absolute.
