Following our first official look at HBO's The Last of Us adaptation's second season, another actor that players of The Last of Us Part II will no doubt recall has reportedly been cast. Jeffrey Wright, who plays the enigmatic leader of the Washington Liberation Front (WLF) militia in the game, will reprise his role in the show's eagerly anticipated next season.

As reported by Variety, Wright has officially joined the show's cast alongside returning series leads Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey. His character is described as: "The quietly powerful leader of a large militia group who sought liberty but instead has become mired in an endless war against a surprisingly resourceful enemy." Previously announced cast members for this season include Kaitlyn Dever as Abby, Isabela Merced as Dina, Young Mazino as Jesse, Ariela Barer as Mel, Tati Gabrielle as Nora, Spencer Lord as Owen, and Danny Ramirez as Manny. Catherine O'Hara will also guest-star in an undisclosed role.
