Sonys London Studio Media Molecule Were Reportedly Highest on the List for Closure

In case you missed the big news last week, PlayStation joined the rest of the industry in cutting hundreds of jobs across its business. What's more, the platform holder is closing one of its longest-standing developers, London Studio — but it seems another UK team may have been at risk, too.
In the wake of all the unfortunate news, Kotaku senior reporter Ethan Gach shared a new detail provided to him by an anonymous source. Apparently, London Studio and Media Molecule were both "highest on the list" for potential closure. After hearing this, Gach reached out to people at both studios, but nobody was aware of the situation.
