Raidou Remastered Highlights Some Huge Improvements Over the Original PS2 RPG
More remake than remaster.
When Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army was first announced, we must admit that we were a little wary. The lacking Shin Megami Tensei 3: Nocturne HD Remaster had set a rather low bar for Atlus' remastering efforts, after all.
However, this revival of the PS2 action RPG is actually starting to look like a significant upgrade over the original release. The above trailer may only be a meagre 33 seconds long, but every improvement it showcases is a big step forward.
