Poor Suicide Squad Sales Disappoint Publisher Warner Bros

Sales fell "short of our expectations".

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League publisher Warner Bros has said the game's sales up until now have "fallen short" of its expectations, which leaves the company facing a "tough year" when compared to years past. The comments were made during a financial call, where chief financial officer Gunnar Wiedenfels expressed his disappointment.

Confirmed sales figures haven't been communicated by Warner Bros or Suicide Squad developer Rocksteady, though as pointed out by IGN, it's not being played very much on PC platform Steam at the moment. The concurrent player peak for the last 24 hours stands at just 888, which compared to the unexpected success of Helldivers 2, really puts the live-service game into perspective. Arrowhead Studios has just increased its server capacity to accommodate a whopping 700,000 players at any one time.
