June's PS Plus Essential games were actually announced a little earlier than usual, with Sony choosing to tie the reveal into its Days of Play promotion. But aside from the timing, this is very much business as usual, with three PS5 and PS4 titles up for grabs starting next week.
We suppose comical and colourful platformer SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake is the headline act — a well-received adaptation from last year. It's joined by pro wrestling title AEW Fight Forever — which launched to middling reviews — and the fantastic retro revival that is Streets of Rage 4.
