Pocketpair in Talks to Bring Palworld to Other Platforms Potentially Including PS5 and PS4

In January, the "Pokemon with guns" game Palworld blew up the internet. Thanks partly to its availability via Steam Early Access and Xbox Game Preview, the game attracted some 25 million players. Developer Pocketpair says that plans to bring the game to other platforms continue apace, and discussions with unnamed platform holders are underway, likely including PlayStation.
Speaking to Bloomberg (thanks, VGC), Pocketpair CEO and game director Takuro Mizobe said that the company is open to a partnership or acquisition but that "we are and will remain a small studio; I want to make multiple small games. Big-budget triple-A games are not for us."
