Players Want Modern Warfare 3s Wonderfully Camouflaged Groot Skin Pulled

You can't catch what you can't see.

In addition to some of the grimmest spawns we've seen in recent days, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 appears to have a "Groot" problem. As players can transfer content from Modern Warfare 2 to its sequel, the controversial limited-time Gaia Operator skin — which some call pay-to-win — has once again reared its evil, arboreal head.

So named by the community for its undeniable resemblance to Marvel's beloved character, the skin makes for obscenely good camouflage in a gritty military FPS, becoming virtually invisible in wooded or darker environments. It's ludicrous, and we can see why players would be infuriated. Worse, you can't even get the Gaia skin anymore, which makes the whole situation somewhat untenable.
