PSVR2 App for PC Now Live on Steam

The place to setup and update PSVR2 on PC.

A dedicated PSVR2 app has been published to PC platform Steam ahead of expanded compatibility for the VR headset going live on 7th August 2024. The application will be available the day before, and it guides you through the setup of the device for use on PC as well as acting as the place to update the headset and its Sense controllers when patches become available. You can view the Steam page through the link.

The app must remain installed at all times to maintain compatibility, with the previously announced PSVR2 PC adapter required to connect the headset to your PC. It costs £49.99 / $59.99. You'll be able to adjust settings like your play area and screen brightness through the SteamVR dashboard, but remember PSVR2 features like headset feedback, adaptive triggers, and eye tracking won't work on PC.
