PS5 PS4 Action RPG REYNATIS Looks Hella Final Fantasy Kingdom Hearts

It looks janky as heck in this debut trailer, but there’s certainly promise in the Shibuya-set REYNATIS. Announced during the Japanese edition of this week’s Nintendo Direct, but coming to both PS5 and PS4 from 25th July, the FuRyu published affair is being helmed by high-profile Square Enix alumni Kazushige Nojima, Yoko Shimomura, and Yasutaka Kaburagi.
The premise isn’t exactly original, but it’s a compelling one. Set in modern-day Tokyo where magic exists, two protagonists clash over whether these powers should be used freely without constraint – or bound by order. It looks like this will factor into the gameplay, as when you’re exploring the civilised world, using any magic will see you suppressed by a police-like faction known as the MEA.
