PS1 FPS Star Wars Dark Forces Remaster Lands on PS5 PS4 in February
29 years after the original.
Originally targeting a 2023 release date, Star Wars: Dark Forces Remaster is now on course for a PS5 and PS4 launch on the 28th February, 2024.
If you're not sure what Dark Forces even is, it's a traditional DOOM-esque first-person shooter that originated on the MS-DOS in 1995, and was ported to the PS1 a year later. The soon-to-be 29-year-old title was met with lukewarm reviews back in the day, but it's remembered quite fondly by Star Wars fans who took it for a spin all those years ago.
