No New Content Coming to Evil Dead The Game Servers Will Remain Live

In sad news for fans of horror games generally, and Evil Dead: The Game specifically, developer Boss Team Games and publisher Saber Interactive have announced that they will no longer "pursue the development of new content".
Saber Interactive broke the news to the Evil Dead community in a short message: "Today, we have made the decision not to pursue the development of new content for Evil Dead: The Game. We will keep the servers up for the foreseeable future and address any major issues that arise." It was also revealed that plans for the Nintendo Switch version of the game had similarly been scrapped.
