New PS5 Slim Faceplates Spotted at CES

New PS5 Console Covers spotted at CES suggest the latest Deep Earth Collection of faceplates for Sony's current-gen system could soon become available for the PS5 Slim also. The Volcanic Red, Cobalt Blue, and Sterling Silver variants are already available (from 26th January 2024 for Sterling Silver) for the original 2020 model, but no word has been shared on whether the new PS5 Slim will also be treated to the Console Covers. This uncovering suggests they will be.
Theoretically, this also means the separate disc drive and its outer casing could also be sold in different colour variants down the light.
