More Armored Core Games Likely in the Future a Strong Will for Them

"Armored Core 6 was a success".

The future seems bright once more for the Armored Core franchise, as FromSoftware president Hidetaka Miyazaki has shared in a new interview that there's a "strong will" inside the developer to create more. Recently talking to IGN Japan (translated by FandomWire), he said the Armored Core series remains "very important to FromSoftware", and there's a "strong will to continue it in the future. I believe Armored Core 6 was a success."

Following its release last year, it was revealed Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon sold 2.8 million copies as of October 2023. There's a good chance the sixth mainline entry has now surpassed the three million sales milestone, but Miyazaki says the titles still have room for improvement. Claiming "not everything was perfect" in Armored Core 6, he said: "There is still room for improvement, so I have no intention of stopping there."
