Update: As promised, MultiVersus has been re-revealed following its unprecedented year offline. The title will launch on 28th May, and will ship with a raft of improvements, including an upgrade to Unreal Engine 5, all-new rollback netcode, and fresh stages and characters. We spotted Townsville from the Powerpuff Girls.
There'll also be a PvE mode, which promises a new way to play beyond the existing competitive modes. More announcements will be made in the weeks leading up to launch, but there's the promise of plenty of rewards for this additional inclusion.
