Lies of P: Overture is the eagerly anticipated expansion to the best Souls-like ever made; seriously, if you're still holding out for a Bloodborne revival and haven't picked it up, you really should. Game director Choi Ji-won was recently asked about what Overture entails, and it sounds pretty meaty, over twice as big as Bloodborne's own The Old Hunter's DLC, full of everything the developer wished it could have fit in the base game.
Speaking to GamesRadar+ at GDC, Choi revealed that Overture will take veterans of the original somewhere in the realm of 15 to 20 hours to overcome. "Overture is not a complete separate piece from the base game, and there's a lot of interconnectivity between the two," the director explained. "Developing the expansion was almost like an effort to complete the Lies of P experience, and that was challenging."
