Konami's Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 is a nostalgic amalgamation of Snake's earliest outings, and it's out today on PS5 and PS4. Purists will notice minor imperfections, mainly in how the older titles are presented, but worry not, as fixes have been promised and are currently en route, though no timeframe was given.
IGN was furnished with a list of known issues and their intended solutions. Beginning with the bonus content for NES ports of Metal Gear and Snake's Revenge, some of the subtitles don't match the audio, which will be rectified. Additional visual options are intended, including a CRT scanline filter and the ability to change the pixel aspect ratio, but further down the road.
