Is It Surprising that PlayStation Fans Dont Really Care About the PS5 Slim
Slim to none.
The current PS5 will be replaced by the PS5 'Slim' at some point in November — rumoured to be the 8th — but there isn't much buzz surrounding Sony's redesigned system. Is that really such a surprise, though? After all, the 'Slim' will retail at the same price, and it doesn't boast any improved specifications — other than the fact it's slightly smaller and a bit lighter. Sure, the fact that you can attach a disc drive to the digital edition is neat, but that's where the marketing ends.
Being rather apathetic about the PS5 'Slim' ourselves, we thought it'd be worth asking the Push Square community for opinions on the refreshed console. Given we're a website that's situated in the hardcore space, we assumed that there would be moderate interest in the 'Slim' from our readers — but that's apparently not the case at all.
