Incoming Worms Armageddon Anniversary Edition Rated for PS5 PS4

Despite many, many sequels and reboots, Worms Armageddon is still widely considered the best in the series. The 2D turn-based strategy game, initially released in 1999, is a true classic, and fortunately it's available on Sony's current platforms so you can relive its chaotic battles. However, it looks like a new version of Team17's beloved title is heading our way, too.
Worms Armageddon: Anniversary Edition has been rated for release on PS5 and PS4 in Taiwan (thanks, Gematsu). All but confirming the game's existence, it sounds like this will be some sort of souped-up version of the multiplayer classic. This year will mark the 25th anniversary of the game, which seems as good a time as any to celebrate it with a special new release.
