Helldivers 2 Director Pushes PlayStation to Backtrack on 170 Steam Delistings
Democracy doesn't sleep.
Helldivers 2 director and Arrowhead Studios CEO Johan Pilestedt is reportedly doing what he can to get the game fully relisted on PC. Following the whole PSN kerfuffle last week, in which it was revealed that players would soon need a PSN account in order to play, Sony and Valve — the company that owns Steam — went ahead and delisted the co-op shooter in 170 countries where PSN isn't available.
Despite backtracking on the requirement just days after the news broke — thanks to a frankly overwhelming backlash from PC players — the decision to delist Helldivers 2 in those 170 countries has not been reversed.
