GTA 5 Makes Up Almost Half of Series Sales 200 Million Copies Sold

Rockstar continues to print money through GTA 5, with publisher Take-Two revealing that the open world crime caper has sold over 200 million copies across all platforms since launching in 2013. This lovely round milestone is second only to Minecraft, which has an incredible 100 million copy lead on Michael and company yet.
Take-Two began bragging about the admittedly massive achievement ahead of the company's earnings call on Thursday (thanks, VGC). Originally released on PS3 and Xbox 360, GTA 5 would later be rereleased on PS4, PC, and Xbox One and then again on PS5 and Xbox Series S/X; a whole new generation of players are apparently ageing into and picking up the game, as we can't fathom there are many core gamers left to push units on.
