Everything announced at Pokmon Presents 2025

It’s Pokémon Day 2025, and that means a new Pokémon Presents, which was full of reveals and updates on all things Pokémon — including our first real look at Pokémon Legends: Z-A, a new Pokémon multiplayer game, and more.

As usual, there were lots of smaller announcements and updates to The Pokémon Company’s live-service games like Pokémon TCG Pocket, Pokémon Unite, and Pokémon Sleep, alongside news about other adaptations of the franchise.

Don’t worry if you missed the broadcast — there’s still time to celebrate. Here’s everything announced during The Pokémon Company 2025’s Pokémon Presents.

Pokémon Champions

The Pokémon Company announced a new title focused on Pokémon battles inspired by the core series games. Pokémon Champions will let trainers from around the world pit their Pokémon skills against each other across mobile devices and Nintendo Switch. It even connects with Pokémon Home, letting players bring over Pokémon from other games. Game Freak is overseeing the development of Pokémon Champions, which is being handled by The Pokémon Works.

Pokémon Legends: Z-A

We finally got a look at gameplay and a release window for Pokémon Legends: Z-A, the upcoming Switch game set in the Kalos region’s Lumiose City. Players will select from starters Totodile, Chikorita, and Tepig, and explore a city undergoing a high-tech urban redevelopment that caters to both humans and Pokémon. Pokémon Legends: Z-A will include Mega Evolutions, and is slated for release on Nintendo Switch in “late 2025.”

Pokémon TCG Pocket

Pokémon TCG Pocket’s fourth expansion, Triumphant Light, drops on Feb. 28. Players can expect Arceus ex as a powerful card — and part of an expansion that includes additional Pokémon ex cards, new trainer cards, and the unveiling of Pokémon with unique Link Abilities.
