E3: What Happened to PSVR Game Star Child
MIA.
You know development of a game probably isn't going too well when this is just the third article we've ever written covering Star Child since its announcement back in June 2017. This PlayStation VR title was revealed at Sony's E3 conference that year and it hasn't ever been seen since, even skipping the recent State of Play presentation which shone the spotlight on upcoming PSVR games. Has it been quietly cancelled? It's impossible to say for sure, but there's a fair amount of evidence to suggest so.
Star Child was delayed on 21st December 2018 after developer Game Trust put out a tweet stating it "can't wait to share more soon!" Since that was sent out, the Twitter account has not posted a single thing and the last tweet it liked was back in March 2019. It hasn't responded to any tweets from fans or posted an update like it said it would. Hell, the website in the profile's bio links back to the main Playful Studios site rather than a dedicated page for the game now.
