E3: The Witcher Blood Origin Casts GiriHaji Star Sophia Brown

The Witcher prequel series The Witcher: Blood Origin has added another cast member. Netflix has announced that British star Sophia Brown has joined the upcoming fantasy show.

In The Witcher: Blood Origin, Brown will play a character named Éile. Netflix describes Éile as "an elite warrior-turned-nomadic musician who is forced to return to the way of the blade after a grand reckoning on the Continent sends her on a quest for vengeance and redemption." Brown is best known for her role as the ruthless assassin Donna Clarke in the acclaimed British crime drama Giri/Haji, as well as for roles in Beauty and the Beast and The Capture.
