E3: The Elder Scrolls 6 Details Aren't Coming For Years Says Bethesda
At E3 2018, Bethesda announced that work had started on The Elder Scrolls VI, but that its release date was still years away. Two years later and that hasn't changed, with Bethesda reiterating that news on the anticipated sequel isn't coming soon.
Senior vice president of communications at Bethesda, Pete Hines, responded directly to a fan on Twitter, who asked about news pertaining to The Elder Scrolls VI. Hines reiterated that the sequel is only planned for release after the company's new RPG, Starfield, which itself hasn't been detailed yet.
It’s after Starfield, which you pretty much know nothing about. So if you’re coming at me for details now and not years from now, I’m failing to properly manage your expectations.

With news on Elder Scrolls VI only coming after Starfield's release, you should prepare to wait years until the project surfaces again. And considering Bethesda is not planning to host an online event of its own to replace their cancelled E3 press conference leaves it unclear when exactly we'll even start hearing about Starfield in the near future.
