E3: Poll: When Do You Expect Sony to Talk About the PS5 Next?
Creating conversations.
Sony finally revealed the specifications of the PlayStation 5 earlier this week, detailing its high speed SSD, backwards compatibility, and the advantages of 3D audio. However, there's still so much we don't know. What does the console itself look like? How much will the PS5 cost? When does the PS5 release? What are the PS5 launch games? It's a lengthy list of questions which still need an answer, so much so that Sony will most likely have to host some sort of event or livestream again in the future if it wants to reveal all.
The question is then: when will that happen? We don't expect the Japanese giant to issue an immediate follow-up to this week's PS5 deep dive reveal, so the earliest time frame we're looking at is probably April. The other factor impacting when Sony will talk next is, of course, Microsoft. The Xbox Series X has been lighting up social media with easy to understand marketing and a timeline that Xbox fans can follow. Phil Spencer will take to the digital stage to fully unveil the Team in Green's new piece of hardware around the time that E3 2020 was scheduled to take place. It'll more than likely happen somewhere within the week of 8th-14th June.
