E3: Marvel's Avengers Will Have Both Single Player and Co-Op Gameplay
Brief details shared ahead of E3 reveal.
It's almost time to get our first glimpse of Marvel's Avengers. Yesterday, it was revealed that Square Enix will show off the superhero action title during the publisher's E3 2019 press conference. We're still mostly in the dark about how the game will actually play -- or we were, until the official E3 website has gave us some broad details.
In the schedule for E3 Coliseum, the event-long livestream hosted by Geoff Keighley, a segment called 'Marvel's Avengers Showcase' has a couple of tidbits that give us a brief idea of what to expect. It states the game "combines cinematic storytelling with continuous single-player and co-operative gameplay." As well as confirming co-op, it goes on to mention customisation and the ability to combine powers: "assemble in teams up to four players, master extraordinary abilities, customize your heroes to fit your playstyle, and combine powers to defend an ever-expanding world under constant threat."
