E3: E3 2019: Dying Light 2 Gets New Moody Trailer

At its E3 2019 press conference, Square Enix revealed a new trailer for Dying Light 2. It showed first-person bounding across rooftops set to moody music, and ending with the newly revealed spring 2020 release date.

Square Enix recently took up distribution for Dying Light 2, which is part of the reason it appeared at E3 2019 at all. This game takes place 15 years after the first game, in a "modern dark age" when the zombie apocalypse has been well established.

The Square Enix press conference showed off several games, including our first look at Marvel's Avengers, a much more in-depth demonstration of the Final Fantasy 7 Remake, and more. People Can Fly also debuted its new game, Outriders., and Square paid homage to its history with remasters of games like Final Fantasy 8.
