E3: Co-Op Shooter Outriders Coming to PS5 at Launch This Holiday
People Can Fly's new game goes cross-gen.
We've seen nothing of Outriders since last year's E3, but out of the blue, the game has bounced back to life. This is the next title from People Can Fly, the studio behind stylish first person shooters such as Bulletstorm. It's a three-player co-op RPG set on a hostile alien world named Enoch, and it looks pretty cool. With this brand new trailer, publisher Square Enix has officially announced the game is coming to PlayStation 5.
Indeed, Outriders will be a cross-gen game, with a version appearing on both PS4 and PS5. What's more, it sounds like it's lined up to join the party at the next-gen console's launch; the game is pegged to release in Holiday 2020 -- just like PS5.
