Given how much weight Bungie and PlayStation are throwing behind this weekend's Marathon reveal, it's no surprise that some onlookers are wondering whether the game's actually gearing up for an imminent release.
But that's not quite the case, according to in-the-know Tom Henderson. The Insider Gaming scribe took to social media overnight, stating that Marathon isn't getting some kind of shadow drop after the event — but it will unveil a closed alpha process (which makes much more sense at this point).
