Cyberpunk 2077 Is Done Says Director But Little Updates May Still Happen
A merc's work is never done.
We all basically knew this already, but CD Projekt Red is done with Cyberpunk 2077. With the launch of Phantom Liberty last year, alongside the massive Update 2.0, it felt like the Polish outfit had finally righted the wrongs of the game's disastrous release. Getting to that point took a lot of time and effort — and the aforementioned additions apparently cost the studio around $63 million to develop. Redemption doesn't come cheap!
But if you've been keeping up with the open world RPG, you'll know that it's recently received a smaller patch or two, mostly in the hope of addressing bugs. However, the 2.11 update, which dropped in January, actually added (rather limited) vehicle customisation options. So when CD Projekt Red says it's done with Cyberpunk 2077, is that really the case?
