Could Zany FreetoPlay RPG The New Denpa Men Come to PS5
Announced as a timed exclusive.
During yesterday’s excellent Nintendo Direct, free-to-play RPG The New Denpa Men was explicitly announced for Nintendo Switch as a “timed exclusive”. The developer, Genius Sonority, has a long and strong relationship with the Super Mario maker, spanning the original Denpa Men trilogy on Nintendo 3DS. But could the new title also expand to consoles like PS5?
Well, the likeliest answer is that it’ll probably target PC and mobile next, and it wouldn’t be the first time Denpa Men has been available on smartphones. However, given the free-to-play business model and enormous popularity of live service RPGs like Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail on Sony’s system, we wouldn’t rule out a port entirely.
