Alone in the Dark Delayed to January to Avoid Chaotic October Window
Game will also be improved.
THQ Nordic has announced it's delaying promising PS5 horror title Alone in the Dark to 16th January 2024 to avoid the extremely busy release schedule of October. The game was originally slated to release in amongst Marvel's Spider-Man 2 and Alan Wake 2, but will now represent one of the first major game launches of next year.
In a press release, developer Pieces Interactive cites the busy release schedule as a reason for the delay, as well as the chance to improve the game experience. "Our intention is to avoid competing with the wake of Alan's epic release and to evade the dazzling skyline of cities adorned by the graceful swings of Spider-Man. We aim to truly remain as Alone in the Dark as possible."
